design+AI 2026 · Workshop Day

If You're Going to Play the Game,
Play It Well.

Build a personal brand that works for you. Understand how AI is changing professional visibility and leave with practical assets that help you stand out including a working tool that drafts content in your own voice.

Your online presence has become part of your product. Hiring managers, recruiters, founders and clients increasingly rely on AI tools before they ever speak to you. If your story isn't clear, authentic and easy to understand, you risk being overlooked before you've had a chance to make an impression.

In this workshop, Ini Abiodun and Sakky B will help you design your personal brand with the same care you would design any great experience. You'll clarify your message, find your voice, and build a working tool that drafts content in that voice trained on who you actually are.

You'll also explore how side projects, curiosity and public experimentation become part of a compelling professional identity, and leave with a practice for keeping it going after the day is done.

Understand how AI is changing hiring and professional visibility. Learn to communicate your values more clearly and authentically. Build a tool that drafts content in your voice, ready to use immediately and turn side projects and experiments into visible evidence of your thinking.

Define your personal narrative and tone of voice
Build an online presence that reflects your strengths and point of view
Use AI to draft content that sounds like you, not like everyone else

Develop an ongoing practice for building your profile consistently
  • 1
    Why this matters (30 mins)
A frank conversation about how AI is changing professional visibility, why more content doesn't mean more signal, and what actually cuts through.
  • 2
    Find your voice (45 mins)
A voice-led identity exercise. You'll talk about who you are and what you care about, and run it through a prompt that structures it into a positioning document: your narrative, tone, audience and core message.
  • Break (15 mins)
  • 3
    Build your tool (60 mins)
Sakky leads a hands-on build session. You'll clone a repo, install dependencies, swap your API keys, and connect to Discord. By the end you'll have a working bot that drafts content in your voice.
  • 4
Make it a practice (40 mins)
Ini leads a session on play and experimentation as a content strategy. You'll use your bot to draft a first post about something you're currently building or experimenting with.
  • 5
    Close (10 mins)
Recap, next steps and where to find the facilitators.
A personal positioning document your narrative, tone, audience and core message
A working Discord bot that drafts content in your voice
A first draft post ready to publish
A practice for continuing to build your presence after the day
